Tristan is thin and wiry, his body not having much fat, nor muscle upon it. Not to mention he is very tall and his limbs are long and thin, making him seem like he's a scarecrow. He's extremely pale, yet his skin is fare and smooth, other than his hands, which are calloused and rough, with long, thin fingers. Tristan's eyes retain no color, being a light or dark grey, depending upon his emotions. While he looks young, which he is actually, being 24, he still wears his professor's clothes with pride, sometimes with a little of his own flare to it, like adding a scarf or something else to make the outfit fun. His thick, dark hair is usually swooped over to the side, or spiked up into the air, and goes through a lot of trouble to make it look good.
He can usually be found with his worn messenger bag tightly looping his torso, and his thick white cloak flowing out behind him. Tristan's fashion choices are not always the best, but he loves to wear things like scarves and hats, but one thing that he always wears are his pair of riding boots he received his first year at NAAM. They are tall and reach his knee, lacing up his leg, which he usually ties over his jeans under his robes.

Personality: Tristan is fun and always smiling, which makes it sometimes a surprise to people to find out how smart he is. The man always has ideas running through his head, and sometimes just spits them out randomly starting with a, "You know what would be cool?" or a "I wonder why..." He is wise and helpful, welcoming anyone in if they need advice for a certain thing, be it personal or school-related. Music is Tristan's life, him knowing how to play over 20 instruments, thus being the reason he is the musics professor. But, while he is an amazing musician, Tristan is bad with a couple areas of magic, being Potions, Herbology and Astronomy. But other than that, he is quite good with a wand. Tristan is something that he happily describes as a "raging homosexual" and has no problem flaunting his sexuality.
While he is happy and cheery, Tristan can be very dark at times, his creepy side showing, and beginning to recite Poe over and over. This is only due to him having a mind that is smart and intelligence, but also dark and brooding at times. This is not always, and he is mostly his happy, cheery self, but when he begins to think about some stuff, it can really darken his mood. For some reason, while the raven is the omen of death, Tristan gets happier when Nevermore is around him, his familiar being one of his closest friends.

He fawns over them both, paying attention to their schooling and grades, acting as their father figure. They really didn't have a father since their parents were to busy with their high-class society lifestyle. When Tristan was 15 he got the opportunity to aid his teacher in trying to teach a class of children. At that point, he fell in love with the classroom and dreamed of being a teacher.
Well, his parents were furious. How could he make a living on a teacher's salary? He was the eldest! He should be the one to take over the family business! But no, much to his parent's dismay, Tristan's eyes were set upon teaching, and teaching only. They practically disowned him, (not that they payed much attention to him before) and he applied for a teaching position at NAAM, praying for the music department. Much to his happiness, he got the music position, and he loves his job, taking kids in class, or teaching private lessons, which is not a problem seeing how he knows how to play most of them.
